Oh my goodness. I already need to get my son ready for bed and I haven't even written this yet!
There's so much going on. I'll spare you the details, but just know that I am really looking forward to downtime that is more relaxing than just falling asleep. It's amazing what humans can endure when we trust our journey and keep giving it our best.
I guess I should tell you that I'm in a new neighborhood right now. In a new town. Yep, Brady and I are moving south to be closer to his school.
That's part of the chaos. I'm surrounded by boxes, but the boxes can wait. I still need to clean out the Copper Harbor house, but that's almost finished. Whew!
When I'm in Copper Harbor I pack. When I'm in my new town, I ignore the boxes and try to work on things I'm not doing when I'm packing. Hopefully soon it will be writing books. Oh, do I miss that!
At least I get to write this blog. Ha!
Today B and I went out for fish at Four Suns Fish and Chips. I had never been there to eat, but one of my dear, loyal listeners/readers/supporters sent me a link to a video on it, and that convinced me to go. Brady ate a whole "Fish only" plate plus some french fries! He loves that stuff. It was quite good. As you can see by the picture, I ate all my fish too!
I think we'll enjoy our relocation. It's closer to some new things and some new adventures and, well, more people. We'll see how that treats us. I do look forward to this new adventure. It's for the right reasons when it comes to my little man. He is ready for the big town, and I'm glad we are finding our place in one.
We will be back in the Harbor most weekends. I can't tell you how much that community means to me. But hopefully it comes across.
Last week, Brady was with my mom, so Esa and I could concentrate on packing and healing from another type of journey. Man, life is really something, but we can prevail.
Here is a picture of him packing a jar of pickles with Grandma Mary. My mom makes great pickles, if you've ever been lucky enough to try them.
Okay. I am not going to sugarcoat my tiredness, but I'm glad we got this far today.
Thanks for reading. You're awesome. Keep believing that anything is possible, and your life will be pretty darn great. Even if it tires you out sometimes.
If you haven't already, please enjoy our latest podcast episode with Captain Noah of Noah's Ark Charters. He's got a great thing going out there on the big lake. I hope you take a ride with him sometime. If you do, tell him where you heard about it!
